| Who are we? |
| Team 145 is one of several teams in the world that compete
on different levels to build a robot to complete a task. In a
typical FIRST season, teams go through several processes using
skills from mathematics, sciences, and technology to build and
operate their robot. Competition usually requires a team to
travel distances, where they will meet up with hundreds of other
teams to compete in an event. |
| |
| |
| Why do we need sponsors? |
| In all this, the team needs parts, woods, metals, and
resources to build the robot. Not to mention costs for traveling
and shipping the robot. This requires several thousand
dollars, dependent on the teams progress through competition.
Due to the limited budget of the schools, and the teams members,
some of this money needs to come from a third party. This is
where sponsors donate a said amount. Sponsors can donate money,
or parts and resources for the robot. |
| |
| |
| What's in it for you? |
| In return for providing money and/or parts to a team, the
team responds by offering advertisements on their website, and
even the robot. Which means you as a sponsor can get your logo
seen by hundreds, potentially thousands of people. |
